Materials & Resources Credits
Credits 1.2 & 1.3 ( Building Reuse)
In renovation projects, Korogard crash rails and handrails can be installed over existing retainers, maintaining the existing walls.
Credits 2.1 & 2.2 (Construction Waste Management)
By recycling wall protection products through the Korogreen Recycling Program, customers are able to divert construction waste from landfills.
Credits 4.1 & 4.2 (Recycled Content)
Several Korogard ETS and standard Korogard corner guards, crash rails, and handrails contain more than 40% pre-consumer recycled material, and can contribute to a building achieving recycled content points.
Credit 5.1 (Manufactured Regionally)
Cities as far north as Boston, New York, and Buffalo, as far south as Durham, and as far west as Detroit are all within 500 miles of the Korogard manufacturing plant.
