New Interior Products Group Formed
FAIRLAWN, OH—Coinciding with organizational changes that will invigorate response to ever-changing markets, Koroseal Wall Protection Systems is now identified as part of RJF International Corporation's Interior Products Group.
The new Interior Products Group includes the wallcovering, wall protection, and walltalkers businesses of RJF. This identification helps distinguish the group from the Industrial Products Group, which contains the matting, specialty film, and Koroklear divisions.
Aside from establishing a clear organization and orderly succession plan within RJF, the change moves the decision-making process closer to the marketplace. This allows Korogard, Koroseal, and walltalkers to be more agile, responding quickly to new marketplace developments.
In the interest of improving organization and balancing management, several people have undergone changes in title and responsibility as of April 1. To ensure a seamless transition, the parties involved have been devoting a significant amount of time to the change.
A key component of this is the formation of major geographical divisions, each of which now has its own general manager.
Pete Saari has been promoted to Vice President of the Interior Products Group. In keeping with his success in the Wall Protection and walltalkers segments, he is assisting in new business development and working on succession strategies with RJF's independent distributors.
Dennis Duhon is General Manager of the Northeast and Midwest divisions. His responsibilities include Koroseal Mid-Atlantic, Righter Group, Inc., and developing Canadian sales (including responsibility for Levey Industries). He is also helping to lead the development of operating policies relative to pricing, commissions, and administration for the entire Wallcovering segment.
Bill Calhoun is General Manager of the Southeast and Southwest divisions, which include Koroseal Southeast, Fortner, Ark-La-Tex and Wallcoverings International.
Dan O'Keefe, as General Manager of the West Coast and Rocky Mountain divisions, is responsible for Architectural Surfaces Inc., Koroseal West and Commercial Wallcovering Source, Inc.
Mark Roman, as Manager of New Business Development, is responsible for establishing a core group of products in the digital printing market, and is taking over the leadership role for the Johns Manville fiberglass textile product line.
Sally Curtis remains Product Marketing Manager, Rich Runkel remains General Manager of Sanitas Wallcoverings, and Bruce Schneider remains Director of International wallcovering sales.
